Prepare delicious meals in the well-equipped kitchen, and when you bring back your fresh catch, take it straight from your very own filleting station to the BBQ for a tasty dinner! Share a meal together at the dining table, or go Kiwi style and enjoy tucking in to your feast out on the deck as the sun goes down.

Te Whare Roto sleeps two guests inside the main house, with another four guests being accommodated in the two-bedroom sleepout across the expansive back lawn. A bathroom-come-laundry in the main house provides the conveniences for your stay.

Special Conditions

As there are fixed bench seats on a section of the deck, adults should closely supervise young children in this area to ensure they do not climb the deck barrier.

There is a trampoline in the garden but as there are no safety mats, all guests should take care if using this and only allow one person on the trampoline at a time.

While the property welcomes pets, it isn't fully fenced so pet owners need to keep an eye on their pets at all times. Pets are also not allowed on the furniture.

Please note that the sleepout at this property is accessed externally and does not have its own bathroom.

Please note that Lake Rotoehu is not suitable for swimming during certain periods of the year. Water quality in the Rotorua Te Arawa lakes is monitored all year round. If levels of toxic algae are too high, a health warning will be issued by the Rotorua Lakes Programme. The monitoring locations and latest results can be viewed at https://www.rotorualakes.co.nz/health-warnings. We advise you check these before your trip.
