Paradise Cottage, 3156 SHWY 10, RD 2, Kaeo#1252 From $100.00 per night

Welcome to Paradise Cottage. Peaceful, beautiful and private and only 15 minutes from Kerikeri. This is a brilliant base from which to explore all that Northland has to offer.

No matter what the season, there is plenty to see and do:
Harbours, bays, lakes, waterfalls, forests, vineyards, great beaches, good restaurants and cafes, cool markets, fishing charters. Come and see for yourself!

Extra room available upon request - providing not in use

Dogs may come with you but must not be allowed into stock paddocks. They must also be trained and well behaved.   They are allowed inside.

The space

You will be in your own self-catering, private, modern cabin, with a gorgeous view onto the vineyards and surrounding hills. You are welcome to wander the grounds, make yourself at home on the garden swing seat in the shade of the olive trees, come and chat at the main house, or just remain privately by yourselves. A walk to the bottom of the vineyard reveals a stunning sea view, and is a great place for a picnic or morning coffee. There is no roadway surrounding us, just hills and bushland. The variety of birdlife and the stars at night are fantastic.

Although self-cater, we provide the basics to get you started: towels, linen, shampoo, conditioner, soap, coffee, tea, sugar, milk, and butter.

The cabin has a comfortable queen bed, an en-suite bathroom, kitchenette, dining area, flat screen TV with Sky, Wi-Fi, a deck, and an outdoor cooking area and heat pump/air conditioning. The Weber on the deck allows you to BBQ or roast and has a hot plate for other cooking options such as bacon and eggs. There is also an outdoor gas hob. The covered deck is a great place to relax with a good book. A washing machine and dryer is available on the property.

An extra room is available upon request provided it is not in use.

Feel free to walk around and explore our private slice of paradise.

You will be loaned a gate remote to come and go during your visit. You are welcome to park beside the cabin as long as it’s not raining, otherwise, in the shared car park.

We don’t mind if you wish to use the deck seating at the main house, or take advantage of the comfortable swing seat in the garden under the olive trees. We ask that you are vigilant about shutting gates and do not interfere with any farm or vineyard equipment.

We want you to be comfortable. If you wish to come and say hello and hang out with a coffee, you're welcome. Dogs are permitted provided they are trained and under your control at all times. Dog bed is provided. Please be sure to ask us if you need anything. We will do our best to accommodate you.

The property is down the drive and there is a property at the top of the drive. Please, just go all the way to the bottom of the drive, thanks.
The temperature can drop dramatically in the evenings, especially during winter, so a sweater is useful.
We are happy for people to smoke outside as long as they put their butts in the bin and not on the ground.
You may walk the property but will be fined if a gate is left open and stock escape.
This is a working vineyard and from time to time, spraying (organic only) may take place - this will be discussed beforehand.

Dogs may come with you but must not be allowed into stock paddocks. They must also be trained and well behaved.
