Farmview Cottages is situated between Mangawhai Village and Mangawhai Heads. Nestled on a hillside in native bush, with superb estuary and rural views. Mangawhai is found on the Twin Coast Discovery Highway just 90 minutes drive north of Central Auckland (turn off SH1 just north of Te Hana) or 50 min south of Whangarei (turn off SH1 at Waipu).

1 and 2 bedroom cottages nestled in native bush, fully self contained, and sleeping up to 6 guests. They have private decks and superb estuary and rural views.
Apartments
Modern and spacious apartments with sundecks, fully self contained, sleeping up to 5 guests. They too have superb estuary and rural views
Studios
Our spacious built studios are fully self contained with an ensuite and sleep 2 - 3 guests

Cottages from $ 135.00 to $ 185.00 per night ( 2 people).
Apartments $ 135.00 to $ 155.00 per night (2 people).
Studio's $ 115.00 to $ 125.00 per night ( 2 people).
Extra persons $ 25.00 per night, children $ 15.00 per night.
Dogs and cats are free.

Mangawhai referred to locally as the "Village" and the "Heads", they are both nestled around a long water way surrounded by big sand dunes on the seaward side and pohutukawa trees on the other. This makes Mangawhai a great escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

With sandy beaches (5 within 15 min drive), a safe harbour, lakes, walkways, sand dunes, bird sanctuary and a subtropical climate. Superb fishing, diving, water-skiing, jet-skiing, wind surfing, kayaking surfing or boogie boarding makes Mangawhai a water lovers paradise.

Recreational boaties and charter boat operators make the fishing and diving at the world class Hen and Chicken Islands accessible - Mangawhai being their closest harbour.

The world renowned Matakohe Kauri Museum is 35 minutes away on the Dargaville highway.

Within 15 minutes there are beautiful beaches at Waipu Cove, Langs and Te Arai.

Within 30 minutes, you can drive to Parakai Beach and Goat Island. It is a popular marine reserve, with snorkeling and fish viewing from a glass bottom boat.

Warkworth and Matakana, with their cafes and wineries and the well known Morris and James Pottery, are an easy 40 minute drive.
