Just one hours drive from Palmerston North City, you can return to a life of yesteryear. Escape into a world where there is no electricity, radio or TV.
The Lodge is built of recycled native timber, has a log fire and massive Totara dining table. It is very warm and cosy. Gas lanterns and candles provide your lighting, the shower is hot, the fridge is cold, cooking facilities are just like home and "yes the loo flushes". The "under the stars" wood-fired bath is a must to experience.
Boulder Lodge is always hired exclusively to one group at a time. You do not need to share with others and the Lodge can accommodate 12 guests.
Accommodation includes the Boulder Room and the Luxury Bunkroom ajoined to the Lodge.The William Colenso and Piri Piri cabins are located in bush settings a short stroll from the lodge. Both cabins sleep two people each in a twin double bedroom.
The Boulder Room sleeps two persons in a twin double bedroom. The Luxury Bunkroom comfortably sleeps six.
By staying at Boulder Lodge you will leave NO CARBON FOOTPRINT. We have a unique forest on our farm which includes indigenous "native" and "exotic" Douglas Fur and Pinus Radiata trees. These absorb and store many tonnes of carbon from our atmosphere. So when you head home from your stay at Boulder lodge you can take comfort in the knowledge that you have left NO CARBON FOOTPRINT.

TARIFF:
Normal Tariff (with Linen) $75.00 per person per night for twin doubles.
$60.00 per person per night for bunk room, or $45 if you bring own bedding.
$150 is minimum tariff for one night at the lodge.
Remember the lodge is not shared with others,it is yours exclusively.
SPECIAL HARD TIMES TARIFF:
During these challenging financial times we at Boulder Lodge want to offer you a reduced tariff so you can still afford that special time away.
Our “Special Hard Times Tariff” is where you supply your own bedding (sheets and or sleeping bag and towelling). Note: The beds are Super King with duvets and blankets supplied.
The Twin Double Bedrooms NZ$55.00 per person per night
The Bunk Room NZ$45.00 per person per night
Under 12 years NZ$15.00 per person per night
Minimum stay for this Tariff is 2 Nights. Linen is available as an extra option.
