Waipukurau Holiday Park is an older-style camp just off SHwy 2, below the bridge on the northern edge of Waipukurau. The somewhat-bare but level grounds have some shade trees, and the Tukituki River is just over the bank for fishing and swimming. Just across the road is the town’s heated indoor swimming pool.
We are only a short walk from the township which means you can easily stock up or have a meal out on foot.
FACILITIES:
- A tidy kitchen has cooking by microwave or hot plates and a fridge.
- There is a dining alcove with TV, plus alfresco dining with a gas BBQ.
- There well-loved ablutions with free showers and an automatic laundry.
- A dump point is provided.
- There’s plenty of room for tenting and 30 sites with power.
- A highlight is the friendly deer next door that you can hand feed – keep a lookout for the rare white stag.
- Your host Paddy will look after you.
