The self-contained Apartment is something special. Not only is it suitable for small pets but it is just ideal for the travelling family, or if you want a private accommodation with wonderful views, garden and private patio. SELF CONTAINED APARTMENT
The Apartment is on the water's edge and faces the lights of Auckland City across the harbour. It has a Queen bed room, with a panoramic window view of the harbour on two sides, a second bedroom with double bed, and in the lounge there is a drop down double bed, and a Queen pull out bed for extra sleeping - you can comfortably have 4 adults or parents with three children. There are duvets on the beds and soft cotton sheets.
You can enjoy the private courtyard with outdoor seating around a marble table. There is a Hobbit House in the garden - and we breed Monarch Butterflies for their beauty and fun.
We provide a start up pack of all the basics for continental breakfasts: tea, coffee, jams and spreads, bread, milk, cereals, butter etc - and to help you enjoy your holiday for a small charge we will even do your clothes washing for you!
From the Apartment there is very easy access to the beach, the ferry to the city, and to all local amenities. It is within walking distance to 3 very good restuarants, twin boutique cinemas, NZ wine shop, fish and chip shop, delicatessan and hair dresser. One mile away the shopping centre has 20 ethnic resturantes, ATM banks,post office etc.

Lord of the Rings fans, come and visit a real Hobbit House! We have a Hobbit House snuggled into the bank, on the path down to the water. Rated by a visitor (who was a cast member of the 'Lord of the Rings') as 'totally cool - very Hobbitish!' A garden roof, complete with chimney and toadstools, is now covered in shells, plants, and herbs for the table. The house looks out onto the Waitemata Harbour (maori for 'sparkling waters') which lives right up to its name, as the morning sunlight dapples through the pohutukawa trees. If you write, paint or meditate, the Hobbit House is very U !!
Wonderful- Mrs Bracegirdle, the motherly Hobbit in Lord of the Rings, has just paid a visit to the Hobbit House
Something else (yes, there is MORE?) Fancy wiling away an hour or three? We have also just finished a two person swinging seat (complete with drinks table of course) and overlooking the harbour.
