Pinedale Motor Camp is a traditional family run camp in tranquil bush setting. 9km west of Havelock, turn off SH6 at Canvastown, 8km on sealed road.
Swim in the crystal clear river, or tube the rapids. Try your hand at gold panning, or explore the historic tunnel and discover the history of the Wakamarina Gold Rush; view the glow worms, spectacular by night, and then relax by a camp fire. Lovely bush walks on site, with tramping & mountain biking tracks nearby. Camp store, playground, BBQ. Recreation room with table tennis and pot belly stove for those cooler nights. Insect screens in kitchen cabins.
Pets welcome by arrangement, but outside only.
From 2010 we will not be open all year - only open from Sept to May, or by arrangement. No eftpos.
