This Matarangi holiday home is situated next to an access way leading to Kowhai Ave with just a short stroll across the road and reserve to the beach. Located in a cul-de-sac just two sections back from the reserve in front of the beach, guests have an easy two minute stroll to the beach.
Two storied, with two showers, two toilets and four bedrooms, this holiday home is ideal for two families wishing to holiday together, comfortably sleeping 9.
Three of the bedrooms in this home are upstairs and have timber lined pitched ceilings and are draped and carpeted. The master bedroom has a queen bed, bedroom two has a double bed and single bed, and bedroom three has two single beds. There is a sun-room off the master bedroom which leads to the upstairs balcony with sea views. This room has a TV and DVD player, and can accomodate a single bed if required. A CD/stereo is available in one of the upstairs bedrooms. Bedroom four is downstairs and has a queen bed and closet. All bedrooms have bedside tables, including cupboards and bedside lamps.
The stairwell is carpeted and there is a childproof fence/gate available.
The lounge has a 3 seater and two 2 seater couches, an armchair, an entertainment unit (which houses the LCD television, DVD/CD and 5.1 home theatre); is fully draped and has polished particle board floors, rug and ranchsliders.
Sky satelite television is connected however guests should bring their own Sky decoder.
The separate dining, family and kitchen areas have attractive wood tongue & groove walls and ceiling, & a large square wooden dining table with 8 wooden chairs. The family room has a 2 seater cane couch and a rug. The dining/family area has bi-fold doors leading onto a covered veranda creating great indoor/outdoor flow.
The fully equipped kitchen has wooden slatted cupboard doors, large pantry, oven/stove, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, electric jug and the all usual pots, pans, crockery, cutlery, glassware etc. (NB there is no dishwasher).
The very large main bathroom is upstairs and has a bath, shower, vanity and toilet; the other shower is downstairs behind the laundry door (not in a bathroom setting.) The second toilet is separate, and to wash your hands you use the laundry tub, the automatic washing machine is in the laundry. There is a phone available for laptop connection and local calls only.
The outdoors has the large front and side deck with built-in seating. A table and chairs, sun umbrella and a 3-burner gas barbeque is provided. There is also an outside shower.
One well-behaved pet may be considered if kept outdoors or downstairs (by prior agreement with owner).
Smoking strictly outside.
Guests are welcome to the bike provided, boogie boards, and other games available. There is a fish filleting sink in the yard. The section is fully fenced and has front and rear gate access.
